Since Dale has taken a few truck loads of woodwork home to his shop to work on our foyer has become less of a hazard.

Beautiful "bones" to the room. And what a gorgeous chandelier. Is it original?
Unfortunatly no. We purchased it from a antique lighting dealer on the east coast over the internet. We wanted a fixture with a pineapple in it because of it being a sign of "welcome." It took a little bit of searching, and we probably paid too much, but we're very happy with how it looks in the room.
You didn't pay too much if you like it and it's perfect for the room.
I have a dear friend who collects pineapples. It's perfect for her, she's the most welcoming person I've ever met!
