Sugar Creek Farm

My favorite class that I took in college was Issues in Agriculture. The man who taught it was a biology professor that had retired a couple of years earlier. It was he that introduced me to the concept of sustainable agriculture.

Now Tim's cousin Kelli is giving it a shot just a few miles away. Tim's mom had told me that she had a website, but I was always forgetting to get the address when we saw her. Tonight I finally tried goggling her, and it worked. And by some weird sort of coincidence she is going to be making herself some chicken feeder pots too. Great minds definitely think alike :)

They have a great old farm house that they've been working on for quite a few years. I haven't made it all the way through the blog yet to find if she's got any pictures. If she doesn't I'll try to get one next time we're in the area. I need to see her about some chicken anyway now that we'll have room for a chest freezer once the mudroom floor is done.

Update: One of her recent posts has photos of their new siding which I am very excited to see. Check it out.

Hey Becky, thanks for the link! I didn't know you guys had a blog - this is awesome, I love it. This will be the summer we make it down to see your house. You guys are a real inspiration to do it right. We need all the inspiration we can get these days :)
