A surprise

When I got into bed last night Tim rolled over sleepily and said "I have a surprise for you." While I was a work last night he got on the internet and ordered the rest of the light fixtures for the house from Rejuvenation plus the hardware I wanted for the downstairs bathroom.

The hardware is a big deal because I discovered a few weeks ago that my much wanted Bennett porcelain fixtures are being discontinued. Of course this also means they are on sale. But I still think it's bittersweet because they are such cute little fixtures.

In order to get these fixtures (they aren't Tim's favorites) I had to compromise on the kitchen light for over the table.
I wanted the Marquam Hill. He wanted the Garfield.
So the Garfield it is. We purchased it in the antique copper finish. I'm hoping it doesn't "conflict" with our copper paint on the ceiling. But you win some, you lose some.

Now we just have to take a morning and take all of the antique fixtures we need rewired to the restoration shop in Sumner.
