Cinderella
I spent this morning scrubbing the beadboard walls in the coat room so I could get painting. It's a sucky job made even worse by the fact that I have to change my water every 3 feet. Yes it's that gross in there.
Now if I could only go to the ball instead of work.

Have you tried scrubbing with TSP? I think it comes in liquid or powder form, and it's real good at degreasing walls prior to painting. We get ours at Home Depot, I think in the painting aisle.
Wear gloves with this stuff...

Hi there, love your new little blog and looking forward to reading more...
Thanks for the advise, but I must have already been channeling you the other day in Sherwin Williams. Yesterday was my first time with the stuff and I am impressed. I bought a pound of the stuff and figured that would be great plenty to do the little coat room and pantry shelves, but I ended up using half the box just for the coat room.
